Intellectual property

What belongs to us, what stays yours, and what to do if you think something on a TableSpark site uses your work without permission.

What belongs to TableSpark

The TableSpark platform, its software, design, templates and brand — including the TableSpark name and logo — belong to TableSpark Ltd or our licensors. Using the service doesn't transfer any of those rights to you beyond the licence needed to run your site while your account is active. (Terms, section 8)

What stays yours

Everything you add — your menus, photos, text, logo, opening hours and contact details — remains yours. You give us a licence to host, store, reproduce and display it only as needed to provide and promote the service and to publish your site. You can edit or delete your content at any time. (Terms, section 4)

Templates and designs

Our fifty templates are licensed for use on your TableSpark site while your account is active. They're part of the platform, so they stay ours; the content you put into them stays yours.

Reporting content that uses your work

When you upload content you confirm you have the rights to it. If you believe a website hosted on TableSpark uses your work without permission, email hello@tablespark.uk with:

  • the address of the page and what on it is yours
  • how you hold the rights to it
  • your name and how to contact you

We'll look into it and act under our acceptable use terms, which don't allow content that infringes someone else's intellectual property.
